The star-shaped guy with the shield always feels like it's firing early, since the swell that warns you it's about to fire hasn't finished all the way when the shot goes off. The last boss feels really well structured and like a totally unique encounter, but that mid-boss is just total chaos and I had a way harder time dealing with it. That mid boss is way harder than the final boss, IMO. I have three real bits of feedback from the demo, which I finished a full loop of: Giving the player access to a little bit more data about the upcoming levels than Slay the Spire does adds a lot of strategic depth, and allows for mods that play off that knowledge, which is really cool. Hey this is already really smart and really clever, I'm super on-board with what y'all are doing here and excited to see how this plays out.
